I run.
But not consistently enough.
I’ve run a few half-marathons, and I still dream of running a marathon. Maybe at some point I will. Three half-marathons I’m most happy with: Barcelona 2016, my very first one; Amsterdam 2019; and Nacht van Groningen 2020. This last one was in the evening of February 29th, and I loved running together with Lucy and Maria straight into my birthday (pushing through wind and painful cobblestone in the centre of Groningen). Thanks to very few participants of my age, I (and Lucy) ended up with a first-in-category win! Small satisfactions of life.
As a way to push myself, and as a reminder that running makes me always feel good, I set up a tradition whereby I run every January 1st, GPS-drawing the new year. Here are those I’ve created.
